Flower shape is cup-like. Pads are green and bronze specked with a wavy margin. Pleasant fragrance. 12" green leaves with faint purple blotches. New leaves are bronzy; spread of 5 to 6'. The inner petals of the flower, 'Green Smoke' are greenish-yellow with blue tips and the outer petals are blue and greenish-yellow with the top 2/3 light blue. 12 by 10.5 inch leaves are green with light purple blotches green undersides with mottled violet markings. This beautiful lily is in very high demand. Commonly referred to a "Water Lilies" these plants have adapted to living in total a water environment. The leaves of these plants are individually supported on leaf stalks called petioles. Water Lily blossoms vary in color and size. They enjoy neutral to alkaline water and grow best in full sun. Planting should be done in water no cooler than 75 degrees. If the water is too cold the plant will enter a dormant state.
